I'm not really big on talking about myself. I can tell you that I grew up in New Jersey and lived on the East Coast for the first half of my life. I've lived in Washington state since the late '80s and have no intention of going back to where the mountains are hills.
I'm an avid telemark skier. If enthusiasm were a gauge of ability, I'd be a great skier. At least I don't mind too much when I fall.
I have far too many books for my own good and I've always got a huge stack of library books that I'm picking at. I was in the Great Books program at St. John's College until I decided I preferred literature and art over philosophy and mathematics. I eventually received my B.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of Washington.
I remember places I've been primarily through the food I've eaten. Fantastic food in Morocco, awful food in Packwood, Washington.
How can you summarize your life on a webpage for a bunch of people you don't know? This is a website about photography. I'll leave it at that.
